Interview with Julian Crouch by Philip Bither

But not conducted by us! Hey, we can’t do everything, although we try. Julian Crouch is a mastermind behind the 2011 Live Arts Festival production The Devil and Mister Punch. The interview, with Philip Bither, senior curator of the Walker Art Center (which co-commissioned this work), is fantastic. It’s a wonderful, in-depth look at Julian’s history with puppetry, and at how this particular show is coming together. So in-depth, in fact (OK, it’s an hour long), that I’ve posted it after the jump, so as not to destroy your load time. Click through–it’s really a great conversation.
